Outreach is offered to faith-based and community organizations, schools and parks, most often in under-serviced neighborhoods.
Kids, Animals & Kindness
This program teaches kids the proper techniques for handling animals through interactive instruction with trained presenters, trained dogs and skilled dog handlers.
Participants learn:
how to avoid bites and keep both people and animals safe around each other
importance of spay/neuter and animal wellness programs
why dog fighting and animal abuse is bad and humane treatment is good
how to report animal abuse to a responsible adult, such as a Safe Humane Chicago participant
