Baby Grand is Safe Humane’s 1,000th Court Case Dog!

Baby Grand is the 1,000th dog to come through Safe Humane’s Court Case Dog Program. BG was just a baby when he and another puppy were confiscated from their owner. They were found when the police were executing a search warrant on their owner, who was a felon, for weapons. The puppies were found outside without food or water or shelter. It was January. The puppies were then brought to CACC, which is where we met them. BG became very sick at the shelter, which is when Guardians of the Green Mile stepped in and pulled BG from the shelter. He went to stay with his foster mom, who is a Safe Humane volunteer and was already smitten with BG. After a stay at Medvet for pneumonia, BG recovered and has grown up to become an Ambassador Dog for out programs. Baby Grand was adopted by his foster mom and is healthy and happy and loved beyond measure.
