CAN'T ATTEND BUT WANT TO SUPPORT COLLABORATIVE JUSTICE?
Please consider a tax-deductible donation.

On Thursday, September 27th, Safe Humane honors Chicago Police Department officers and Chicago Animal Control officers who are essentially the first in the chain of collaborative justice that makes Chicago safer and more humane. Working with the community, these officers bring dozens of abusers to justice and help ensure that hundreds of animals get a good life in good homes with compassionate people – for the rest of their lives. Prosecutors, too! Hear about them, and meet a few of the more than 1,100 animals rescued by these officers.

All of these officers and other public service professionals go above and beyond to make our city safer and more humane for people and animals alike. Safe Humane honors and thanks them! They are also essential to Safe Humane's Collaborative Justice and Court Case Dogs (and Cats!) programs as they work to stop the cycle of violence alongside other partners, such as Chicago Animal Care and Control, Cook County State's Attorney's Office, Cook County Circuit Court and many community organizations and individuals.
