Our timid, sweet, 11-month-old Scarlett, made her way to CACC in March of 2014. She was confiscated by the police when her owner was charged with cruelty. We haven't received any details, but we're pretty sure her past home was a scary home. She was quite nervous when we first met her and will still cower when you try to pet her. She loves hanging out with all sorts of dogs off leash and once she warms up to you she is absolutely delightful. Scarlett will charm you by rolling over and is more than happy to receive a belly rub. This girl was clearly abused, so we're happy to know she is on to bigger and better things now. Scarlett is in her forever home, thanks to Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control.
