When the police entered Ethel's home they were overwhelmed by the strong stench of urine and feces, the floor boards were visibly soaked with urine. There was no food or water in the home. Although the owner was charged with cruel treatment, he also admitted to being overwhelmed and wanting the best for Ethel and her housemate, Fred. He relinquished ownership to CACC so they would get the care they deserved and find rescue. Ethel is a happy-go-lucky seven-year-old who loves every human and dog she meets. She is learning her manners and enjoys her off leash playgroups with other dogs. What she would enjoy more though is a foster home, so she can be free of the cage she's been living in for over a month now.

Ethel is currently in training at I Speak Dog and will be available for adoption soon.
