Flip nka Beau

FLIP UPDATE - March 2021!

We didn’t work with Flip for long before he found rescue, but we were lucky enough to be the “middle (wo)man” between his old life and his new life. Police found Flip when they were on the hunt for stolen goods and they stumbled upon our little, or not so little, treasure! Between Flip’s big head and beefy body, we were smitten, and we assume ePITome Rescue was, too, because they scooped him up after less than a month with us at the shelter.

These days Flip nka Beau is no longer abandoned and left like some stolen goods. Instead he is part of a loving family -- his foster family to be exact -- because they just couldn’t let him go. And we don’t blame them one bit! His mom reports that he loves getting his paws rubbed, eating ice cream, going through drive-thrus, rolling around on his back, snuggling and going on walks. Even though today his mom refers to him as “Boo Bear,” he is still the same ole attention-loving, deep-into-your-eye-gazing, gorgeous blockhead that we remember from 2018. And something tells us he will never change.

When we asked Beau’s mom what she would like others to know about fostering or adopting a Court Case Dog or any dog that has come from a situation of abuse or neglect, here is what she had to say about her experience with our beloved Beau: “All they need is love and reassurance that you will provide that love. Beau adapted so well with my family because of the love that we instantly showed him. Give those dogs a chance – you won’t regret it.”

We couldn’t agree more! You will always be a treasure to us, Beau!
