Volunteer Positions

We have a variety of volunteer positions available.  If you are interested in volunteering with Safe Humane Chicago, please fill out an application to get started. Some of our availabilities include:

Office/Administrative

We're always looking for people to do various office functions such as staffing student community outreach packets, entering data, sending out letters, maintaining spreadsheets, phone calls.

Presenters

We need volunteers who enjoy presenting to various audiences from children to adults.  You will be trained and equipped with all presentation materials.

Ambassadors

We need volunteers to table at various events throughout the year.   Your role will be handing out materials and answering any questions.

Dog Handlers

Trained dogs and their handlers attend our presentations and functions.   If you are interested, please go to "Become A Volunteer" and submit your application.  We will get back to you with specific requirements on how to qualify your dog.

Community Outreach

We need volunteers to help us create outreach opportunities within our communities.
