Court Case Dogs: Information for Rescues and Shelters

Thank you for your interest in transferring a Court Case Dog into your program. We rely on rescues like yours to transfer Court Case Dogs from their cages, and provide them the opportunity for a much deserved life as a companion animal.

Benefits and resources available to those who take in Court Case Dogs:

- Each dog is spayed and neutered, and has their rabies and distemper combo vaccinations.

- Assessment of each dog provided, with information regarding the dog’s behavior, demonstrated to date, to assist you in selecting a successful transition environment, whether foster, foster to adopt, or shelter.

- Free in-home (for foster and/or adoptive families) and in-facility training for life with a Best Friends Animal Society Community Training Partner.

- Medical assistance on a case-by-case basis.

- Access to, and help with communications and events needed to find loving foster homes and adopters.

The Court Case Dogs have been enormously successful in their adoptive homes. Please see our Success Stories to read testimonials from adoptive families.

Thank you for your interest in helping dogs who have "done the time but not the crime."
